Pontefract Driving Instructors Association was initially started in December 2004 to bring together Driving Instructors, DSA Examiners, and other authorities who have road safety links

Since starting the association it has gone from strength to strength and currently has in excess of 80 members. We have also adopted the Dave Lawrence Sickness Scheme that is in use with Leeds Driving Instructors Association and Harrogate Driving Instructors Association, where members do not pay into the scheme unless there is a member off work for longer than two weeks, ask any of our existing members or committee members, they will gladly give you more information.

PDIA Website and Newsletter

Each member of the PDI has access to a free web page on the associations website, where they can enter details of their driving school and also add photographs, if they wish. The website has a members only forum, where they can share different views and ask advice from other Instructors. As the forum is password protected all messages are confidential.

Apart from the associations website, we also publish newsletter, that is sent out by email or post to all members, prior to each meeting.
